The bottom line

Vizion Hollywood Apartments suits travellers who want a self-contained base in Palermo with a pool and sauna, and who can work around the limited check-in times. Its modest ratings and small scale mean it's not for those seeking high-touch service, but the location and rooftop amenities carry real appeal.

7.1A practical Palermo pick for independent travellers who value location and rooftop extras over service polish.
